At Young Achievers, we believe that all children have a natural ability, curiosity and imagination to learn and grow. We believe that children learn and develop best in a safe secure environment that stimulates and encourages socialization, Independence and self worth.Kids

Infant and Toddler

Infant and toddler care will be provided by a qualified caregiver whose main focus is to insure each child with a safe and secure environment. The daily activities includes toys and games that encourage:Toddlers

  • Gross Motor Experiences
  • Fine Motor Experiences
  • Language Experiences
  • Sensory Experiences

 

Pre-School

Our pre-schoolers are provided with a well-structured and personalized program to meet each child's needs. The daily schedule will incorporate the following:

  • Language Arts/Writing
  • Math Skills
  • Social Skills/House Corner
  • Creative Skills/Blocks and Table Toys
  • Art, Craft, Music
  • Library Corner
  • Physical Activities/Indoor and Outdoor

 

Schedule

ClockYoung Achievers is sensitive to the problems of the single and working parent, therefore we offer a schedule that is geared to accommodate your needs.

  • Center is open Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Open most holidays except Christmas, New Years Day and Thanksgiving.
  • An evening program will be available depending upon demands.

 

Meals

FoodAll of our meals are fresh and prepared in-house.

  • Breakfast is served 7:30am - 8:30am & a weely menu is readily availible.
  • Hot nutritious lunch (Monthly Menu will be posted).
  • Two snacks provided daily.
  • Birthdays are celebrated every month. Parents are encouraged to bring snacks and birthday cakes.

 

Discipline

Children will not be subjected to any form of punishment which is severe, humiliating or frightening. Discipline shall not be associated with food, rest or toileting. Spanking or any form of physical punishment is prohibited. Children between the ages of 3 and 5 will be given time outs only if they are capable of processing afterwords. Positive techniques will be used to guide the children's behavior. Children are encouraged to talk about their feelings and express themselves.
